The training will follow the Skills for Care guidance and capabilities framework for carers, aiming to raise more awareness on Learning Disability and Autism.
We work closely with Skills for Care to monitor the requirements for the level of training of health and social care staff working with people with learning disability and Autism and the support need relevant to their roles.
Basic Awareness training will be delivered in co-production with ‘Inspired Disability Awareness Ltd’, with Holly Chilton as Director read more.
We offer Specialist training related to people with Learning Disabilities:
• Talking about End of Life & dying with people with Learning Difficulties and how to plan for things to come?
• How to support people with disabilities coping with grief and loss?
• Talking Mats, a pictorial communication tool.
